That's why voice acting is so great. I can at least get around half of what's really going on just by listening, but I used to play RPG's in Japanese without voice acting or a walk through, I usually got lost a lot at certain points only to later find out the place I needed to go was in the one direction I hadn't looked in yet.
At some point, all anime runs through redundancy, it's inevitable since everything has been done before, it's just a matter of how they do it instead of what it is that's intriguing. Although I can only think of a few manga that actually aren't very redundant, Eyeshield 21, Fullmetal Alchemist and Air Gear are the only ones that are any good. But none of the anime's, don't ever watch the anime for them, they're terrible at best.
Compared to Ash, yes, Satoshi is a lot better. I still have a hard time with Gary's real name, Shigeru, Gary is such a lame name compared to that.
I now really want them to remake Gold and Crystal like they did for Red and Green because I want to play it now. I'm also considering getting Green, but I don't know yet. But the new games kinda look neat, aside from the fact that the main male character looks really lame( seriously, a beret, whose idea was that...), Diamond and Pearl look nice, and they're going to bring back the night and day thing for them. They're on the DS though.

With you, there are three ^.^ That said, I haven't been on a lot in the past week and a half because I'm busy with costuming work for a convention this weekend (I do, however, promise to come back with pictures that I'll post here). But then, our main issue is just a lack of active members. I'm usually around, Orochimaru's usually around, Vulpes is sometimes around, Cannon is sometimes around, and a few other people come on now and then to check in on things - beyond that we're all ALOOOOONE. I also want to know what happened to all of the old crew on the s-CRY-ed board - Kat, rahwenn, Mao, Eloy, and so forth. They all kind of disappeared awhile back and haven't come back.

I kinda like how there isn't a ton of people on here, I mean more wouldn't be bad or anything, but compared to other forums this one just seems more personal. Since there isn't a ton of people, you can actually carry a conversation with someone on here, like this.

Very true, and I like that is well (it is nice to know a little bit about every single member, instead of just trying to keep the names of 600 of them straight. It's more friendly). I would, however, like to have enough activity that some of the less-used boards can at least get one post a month.

O.O Cibi Cougar is... Scary. The shape of his face does not lend itself well to chibification, methinks. On the other hand, I would like to hug Chibi Kazu-kun. He's so grumpy looking ^.^ It's adorable.

Oh My Gosh! I just looked at all of your artwork, you're really talented. Sometimes I don't like the mucho muscles though. Your chibis are SO CUTE *passes out*

Judging from Cougar's jaw line, no, I would not think he would do well in chibi form, but I'm bored and wanted to try it. I still can't remember what the holy uniform looks like from memory, I need to study it.
Many do not like buff men, in fact only one person I know actually doesn't completely hate it. But I'm not all that great in drawing skinny boys so they all come out buff, and a lot of my original characters are buff so I just end up drawing buff men more anyway. Thank you though, hopefully when I get my new tablet, I can draw a lot more since it'll be easier to color especially.

'Tis all too true. Now why do I have a sudden urge to draw chibi wibbling Tachibana? ...Clearly it is all your fault.
I can't even remember the Holy uniform when I am looking at it o.0 I just know it's an assortment of blue (or purple), black, and white bits with boots and a funky patch. Which is going to make my life very difficult if I ever make the darned thing. Grrr.
Hey, I don't hate buff guys, I just hate excessively buff guys. There's a difference *nods*

Awww! Such a cute little wibbling angry Tachibana chibi he is! Please color him?
As for the raw sketches, I like the one where Kazuma's hand is reaching out with the almost bird's-eye perspective in the middle. It's a great concept, and I'd like to see it as a finished piece of art if you do get around to it. Not as fond of the one where his arms are crossed, but it's not bad, just not as dynamic and interesting.
My usual qualms about lined paper apply. *boo-hiss* But you've got some good concepts going there, so you should consider working with them some more.

I don't really want to color him, especially since there'd be a lot of touch up what with the lined paper and all.
I want to draw that one the most, but I can't decide on whether I want to do it in oekaki or in photoshop. I also need to go get clothing references before I do.

...You could just redraw him on white paper. He's not that complex -.- But that's why I abhor lined paper so much. If you accidentally come up with something you like, you can't use it.
Go with whichever you're better at. I honestly can't help you choose. There have been good results produced with both. My personal preference is to oekaki anything realism-ish and use a paint program for anything anime, but it's really up to you.

I saw Cougar first on NDA, but somehow failed at realizing it was you who drew it -.-' Probably because I don't look at artist names... so, we'll just momentarily excuse my blockheadedness, if at all possible o.0 That aside, I do really like it. A lot. The glare on the glasses is such a minor issue that it's not noticeable until you point it out - and it's very well-colored, with good lineart (I envy your tablet. I had to give up on lineart with a mouse. It's just too nerve-wracking). Very nice job ^^ Oh, and I'm probably going to round up all of the recently-posted fan art here to post on Drastic itself sometime next week - or whenever I finish the piece I'm currently working on. Do you have any issues with me putting your work there / are there any pieces you don't want me to post?

Yeah, tablet is nice. No, I don't have a problem, although some of the older drawings have my original character in them, don't know what to do about that. I also have this... www.sheezyart.com/view/872437/
