Yaoi isn't even particularly interesting and I never really got into it. But at least half the people I know got really heavily into it around our sophomore year, which was I think 5 years ago, but I never got why it was so great. I'm not that into pretty, at all anymore, I mean I like it, but I'm not too into it. It's good to a point and then it just gets boring. And I am aware of muscles taken too far, I try not yo take it there, but sometimes, it just fits the character. It's kind of like in Dragonball, all the men are buff in that because they train and fight, and the ones that aren't are either little kids or not human. Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, its the gamecube game with shadow Lugia in it, it's an RPG too. The S.S. Anne is more of something that you can do than a glitch, but you can find rare pokemon and I think a Mewtwo if you do it. When you get to Vermilion City and get the ticket, instead of going on the boat right away, take diglett's cave back to Viridian and get the cut HM, the go to Cerulean city and take the back way to Lavender town and then to Fuchsia City, get the surf HM, and then the badge to use it outside of battle, there's a lot of time consuming leveling to do this, then go back to Vermilion and go out to the S.S. Anne, after your ticket is checked, the screen'll change and you'll be on the pier right in front of the boat, you would normally just enter it, but since you can surf, just surf of one of the sides and roam around to find pokemon, that's about it. They should make a light element, that'd be cool.... Personally, I detest DBZ with every fiberous fiber of my body, so using it as an example of anything doesn't do much for me. Plus, after awhile, all the characters look alike (except for, like, the assorted odd-colored aliens, but you get the point). How many times can they use and reuse the same three haircuts 0.o? Huh. Funky. I'll have to try that sometime; it sounds cool. They changed that in G/S/C, though; when you get the ticket checked it automatically sends you straight to the boat without giving you that option. I never realized it was different in R/B/Y the thig is im so damn lazy >>; u wont see them for like a week Sounds like something I'd do

Dragonball, while not as flippin' awesome as all the lil' kids think it is, is still one of the most influential shonen manga's out there, and especially for its time. Most other shonen manga's take something from DB. And at least the first 20 vols of the manga are decent, before Toriyama stopped caring. The main problem is that America ruined it, it did the same thing with Pokemon for like 5 years. And blame all character design on Toriyama, it's the way he draws, even his other work, like from the Dragon Quest video games, looks all alike. If DB won't work then I will throw out JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Fist of the North Star, Kinnikuman, and Guilty Gear above all other fighting games for buff examples. ZOMFG. 0.0 The post-it chibi owns. SO MUCH.
Now that I have that out of my system, I must boo and hiss at you for drawing on lined paper. Bad! Bad!
I must say, there's nothing worse than a mangaka who ceases caring halfway through a series. If you're gonna start something, at least have the integrity to follow through with it. I mean, it's one thing to have a series widely disliked and cancelled, so long as you put your heart into it, but to just cease caring and dissapoint the fans is a jerky thing to do. /end mini-rant.
I honestly have yet to see or hear of a Toriyama creation that sparked my interest.
You know I'm not a gamer, so game references don't mean much to me. But I'll take JoJo's.
One last note: Draw some pokemon under #251. I'm sure your shelgon is lovely and accurate, but my denial of it's existence prevents me from viewing anything more than a gray blob *nods* Looks kinda uncomfortable to be sitting on, tho'

....................................k
I don't draw serious things on lined paper, just sketches, you can even see the skeletons that I use on those.
You can't actually blame Toriyama, he wanted to end it with the Dragonball saga, instead of keeping it going into the whole saiyan thing aka Dragonball Z, but because the manga was doing so well and was so popular, he was basically forced to keep it going be his peers.
The Dragon Quest games are actually highly rated games, Toriyama just did the character designs for them, nothing else.
I've been meaning to draw some other pokemon, but I can't get a good idea down for it, I just think shelgon's are funny with their little stubby legs and they look so irritated...

I'm on a personal vendetta against lined paper. -.-
That changes things a little. In which case I will simply poke and yell at the guys who forced him to continue. That's kind of a jerky thing to do .
how about you draw a... voltorb? Those are easy enough. Or you could draw your mew plushie. I see you have your new tablet. Very nice ^.^

I personally find it easier to find inspiration by looking at either real animals (if possible, like for a ponyta or something), or at card and/or series illustrations for inspiration. Even though I never copy pokemon poses, they can spawn some good ideas if I'm stuck in a rut. And I know that a voltorb's too easy ^.^ I was just kidding I like your sketches of Greed, they're really well-done and I even recognized him! *proud of herself* (I got thoroughly bored with FMA prior to his appearance and I don't know him that well... plus, from what I've come to understand, his role isn't as important as the other humunculi). Just not as fond of the series... it couldn't hold my attention. Same deal with Naruto, InuYasha, and almost every other major hit anime that's come out in the past few years. They just drag on too much without progressing very far, and after awhile they just grind on my nerves and I can't watch them anymore...

The Fullmetal Alchemist anime is terrible at best, I have no idea why so many people like it more than the manga. To me it's just an animated cesspool of emo that never gets any better, they made EVERYONE in the series into whiny, angsty, babies, and I mean everyone. It's also nothing like the manga, in the manga, they may have problems, but they get through them, in the anime, they don't, they never get closer about it, a new problem just comes up and they leave the old one. The anime is at least watchable up until ep 24 when one of the best characters in the series gets killed, but after that is just goes straight downhill. Greed doesn't come in until the early thirties and he's only in it for like 3 eps and then gets killed in a really lame way. In the manga, he still gets killed but in a better way. Really the only decent things about the anime is the music and the fact that you get to see the characters animated, which I proved but going screencap happy one time and now I have about 100 screencaps of Greed.
Naruto was a good manga until the 3rd Hokage was killed, then it went all downhill. And Inu Yasha has always sucked, it is a terrible manga that does nothing but repeat story arcs with different characters.

I only made it a little further in the FMA manga than the anime -.-' Neither could keep me amused. Everyone was pretty mad when Hughes died, weren't they? But yeah, I stopped in the manga a few chapters before Greed showed up; I was bored with the anime by the 20th episode, tops.
Not even the first volume of the Naruto manga could pique my interest; I read up to volume 5 or 6 but eventually just got bored with that, too.
The only reason I made it as long as I did with InuYasha (which, mind you, wasn't far.... somewhere in the second season, I think) was because my sister was a rabid Sesshoumaru fangirl and made me watch. Now that she's fallen for Goku of Saiyuki, though, I've been spared.

I love your sketches of Greed. I want his jacket. Ack, I like the FMA anime. Probably because I haven't read the manga. Once I read the manga my mind will probably change about the anime.
I don't think I've seen more than twelve Inuyasha episodes. I don't why but...Kagome irks me. I liked Naruto until after the Chunin exams ended. After that...yeah.

I love his jacket too, I now take special note of all other men wearing a jacket like that because of him.
If you've seen the anime and liked it then when you read the manga you'll either end up being like all the fangirls that I hate and not liking it because it's nothing like the anime, which makes no sense since the manga was there first and is thus the correct storyline while the anime is just a pile of made up garbage, or you'll actually get that the anime is nothing like the manga and find the manga to be better, because it is. The manga is up to chapter 61 and the new one comes out in about another week or so.
Again, Inu Yasha sucks, but everybody I knew were really into it too, I never was though, I can recognize garbage when I see it. Naruto hasn't been good since then, it has recently( like last few weeks) gotten a little bit better, but it's still not great. Bleach hasn't been doing very well in my opinion either, but Eyeshield 21 is really good, a lot of cliffhangers though. Since I don't live near a Japanese bookstore anymore I can't keep up on anything outside of Weekly Jump and FMA, I used to keep tabs on like 5 other series but now I can't, it sucks.

The Bleach filler is just.... ugh. When it ends, I suppose it'll be better.
The FMA manga was marginally better. The whole cast, plot and setting just isn't compelling enough for me. I know that seems silly with a story all about angst and woe and growing up and blah blah blah, but, frankly, it just doesn't work. It's all been done before (except the turn-your-brother-into-a-suit-of-armor thing. I don't think I've seen that before, but then, that alone isn't worthwhile enough to watch a whole series).
Autumn, a lot of people are irked by Kagome particularly because of her English dub voice. Are you part of that crew, or are you just generally anti-Kagome?
I read the first two volumes or so of Eyeshield 21 as scanlations before it was licensed, and I enjoyed it, despite it being about football and all (I DESPISE all forms of athletic competition). It was enjoyable, because the whole football thing didn't get totally overbearing and take over the plot. I'm contemplating picking it up for my anime club, but I don't know if they'll like it as much. They tend to drift more towards shoujo (as in, Yami no Matsuei and Ouran High were huge hits when I bought them, there's no point in adding Fruits Basket to the library because almost every single member owns at least one volume, Sailor Moon DVDs abound, and so forth). Foot ball manga might not fit in so well, although I do keep trying to push variety. Variety, darn it! /end mini-rant
I also wish I could keep tabs on more series at once. And I wish I had a job, so it would be easier to do so without going bankrupt. Furthermore, a DVD burner would be nice, just 'cuz. Burning all my fansubs to CDs isn't as versatile... right now I'm tangled up between just a few series.

I was actually referring to the manga, I don't watch the anime because it was already terrible, the fillers are just making it worse. The FMA manga actually gets better and better as it progresses, although right now its in a flashback it's still good. Eyeshield 21 gets progressively better and better too, but yeah you have little chance of getting total shoujo fans into it. I use to be able to get all the new tankoubans when they came out along with Weekly Shonen Jump, Weekly Shounen Sunday, Weekly Shounen Magazine, Monthly Asuka, and Monthly Shounen Gangan, now I get Gangan, and maybe once ever couple months I can get some Jumps. Tanks are harder to get. DVD writable disc's are expensive, which is why I never buy them, the laptop I'm on has a DVD burner in it though. Oh and a new Oekaki... I think she did a good job. It's just that in all of the episodes I have seen she is either pining over Inuyasha while he's pining over Kikyo, sitting the crap out of Inuyasha or stating the painfully obvious >_< (Jewel shard falls on the ground, everyone sees it and reconizes it) Kagome: It's a jewel shard! Just things like that, a few aspects of her personality I suppose. I don't hate her, but I don't particularly like her either. Omg! Your new drawing is so cute! I love his expression >_<

Original www.sheezyart.com/view/867329/Really? I kind of like the latest arc... it drags a bit, but the Vaizards are cool and I want to see what exactly is going on with Orihime. DVD-R discs aren't really any more expensive than CD-R's. Plus, if you buy them online, they're even cheaper. Like, less than 40 cents apiece. If I had a DVD burner, though, I could just burn all of my unlisenced fansubs to DVDs for my club. Nice oekaki ^^ Have you considered doing the lineart with the pen tool? It's a little smoother. Also, any particular reason why you've switched from deviantART to SheezyArt? Autumn, a lot of people are irked by Kagome particularly because of her English dub voice. Are you part of that crew, or are you just generally anti-Kagome? Actually, I like her english voice. I think she did a good job. But then, that shows up often in anime, probably as some method of clueing in viewers who didn't watch some episodes.

The last couple chapters have been better, but it was getting pretty boring.
If I wanted to use the pen tool I would, but I did both of those with a mouse and it is not wise to use a mouse with the pen tool since it's really hard to get nice smooth lines with it. Plus you won't really have visible mistakes with the pencil tool.
Deviant art has redone their categories for submitting artwork and it's now hard and very confusing to submit things, so stuff just gets submitting to sheezyart first. It might go back and forth though.

Eh, but with a series like Bleach, it's better to just stick with it. Parts of the SS arc dragged too, but that turned out okay.
I use a mouse -.-' and I don't have any problems with the pen tool. Then again, I don't draw lineart, either, so it's a different story altogether.
Oh, yeah. I'm kind of irked that they removed Oekaki as a subcategory of Digital Art -.-' Now I haven't a clue where to file my oekaki work. But SheezyArt's layout hurts my eyeballs (the bright! 0_0), so I still stick with photobucket and the forums.

Yeah, it did. I remember dropping it around the Kenpachi fight and not picking it up again until way later when Byakuya saves Rukia from Aizen. I think I read about 5 chapters in between that.
Yeah, right now I'm drawing an oekaki with the pen tool and I'm using my tablet for it.
I have no idea why they changed it either, it was fine before and now it's all screwy. Oekaki is now under anime and manga, but I suppose you could put it under paintings and airbrushings, which is still under the digital media section.
Sheezyart is pretty bright, but if you have an account you can change the layout to be basically any color you want and then you can browse the site like that.
Photobucket always resizes my things, so I don't like to use it a lot.

The bankai training segment was pretty snailish, too. That many chapters of Ichigo and Zangetsu flinging swords at each other and bleeding profusely got dull after awhile.
The pen tool is your friend -.-'
They also have an oekaki category for cartoons and comics, which is where they refiled all of my realism pieces. I ranted a bit, but they're not likely to change it.
Photobucket won't resize if the filesize is under 250kb, so I just try and keep my work from being flipping huge. If I can't, then I use imageshack.
Even if I can dull it down, it's just not a very nice-looking page setup, so I think even then it would irk me.
