Ugh. It is after 11 pm on a school night and I am exhausted. Hence, I am posting this and only this, even though I have several assorted replies to make, and then I am going to bed. Everything else can wait for tomorrow Yes. Anyway, I just finished a CG of Arra I've been working on in my free time lately. When I drew the original sketch, I randomly put her hair up in some weird style which ended up being easier to color than I thought it would be. Actually, her hair and the little wingy thing on her shoulder are my favorite parts of this piece; I'm not fond of the rest of it. Yes. The usual stuff applies: comments are welcome, I'd love to get feedback or discuss whatever you want. Please don't steal this, claim it as your own, post it elsewhere (link to this if you want to show it to someone, don't repost w/o my permission, please!), yadda yadda and jellyfish on a spork. I dunno. I'm too tired for my brain to function properly. And now, a nice cozy bed full of blankets and pillows and other soft & fuzzy articles of naptime awaits me. 'Night, everyone. Ungubally

Again, the shadows don't seem to be dark enough in certain places, although it's a little hard to tell with the colors on this laptop (reds look like oranges on this thing), also the face seems a little weird, maybe the eyes are too close, or the nose is too small. The line art is sketchy in places, but I'm not one to talk about line art.

It's the skin, isn't it? I just can't seem to get over making the skin shading too light -.-' The feathers, too.
I think the biggest issue with her head is her ear, actually. It's too close to her eye, especially so since her head is tilted away a bit. The face would probably look less...crowded... if I had moved her ear back a bit...
