Okay, since I'm not always full of the best ideas for icons, and quite frankly, I need some more graphics work to keep me busy, I would like to announce that I am now taking icon challenges.
Put simply, you (that's you, the person reading this. Not your best friend's cousin's friend's mother's sister's nephew, unless he's reading this, too) challenge me (that would be me.... just me. The Asuka. You know. Me.
) to make a Bleach icon. You can give me a theme, color, image, character, phrase, lyrics, or whatever else you think of, and then I will make an icon. This is a challenge thread, not a request thread, so if you want an icon for yourself, post it on the graphics board or in a separate thread on this board.
You can make your challenge as specific or as broad as you want, so feel free to give me as hard a time as you want. Just don't give me something so out there that there's no way I could do it.
Also, a few rules:
1 - I won't make anything pornographic, extremely profane, racist, xtremely sexist, etc. If I interpret it to be inappropriate, i will refuse the challenge.
2 - i reserve the right to post these icons wherever I want, however I want, and for whatever purposes I want. This is a challenge thread, not a request, and they are my icons.
3 - These icons are up to my interpretation, so don't try and get me to redo it until you like it.
4. You may challenge me to one icon at a time. After I finish that icon, you may re-challenge me.
5. If I begin to get to many challenges, i reserve the right to put this challenge on hiatus or close it completely if necessary.
6. Guppies. You know I had to sneak them in somewhere.
7. If you use these icons, please credit to LJ username "asuka_was_here" or to the URL of these forums (http://auroraborealis1.proboards25.com). Do not steal these icons or claim them as your own.
8. Textless icons are not bases! Please do not use them as such.
9. If a challenge is so insane that I don't feel I can complete it, I reserve the right to refuse.
10. I will make icons for any pairings, including shounen or shoujo ai, canon or crack, etc. Just as long as it meets my other requirements.
11. If it's a specific image you want me to use, please give me the URL to the image or post a copy of it here. Please keep images relatively small if you're posintg them here.
12. Please do not direct-link these icons unless you are using one as your icon on these forums and these forums ONLY.
