Someone had to make it, and since there's just two of us right now, might as well be me  . This is where we Bleach fans can chat about any new developments in Bleach-fandom, such as new episodes (duh =P), and, um... other stuff... yeah. Just whatever comes to mind. Now then, Bleach 32. Is it just me, or do the episodes seem shorter and shorter? And poor Renji... while Ichigo is better than him, and Ichigo's not all that high on my Fav Bleach Characters list (not that he's not really cool, because he is), Renji's still cool... I hope he doesn't just drop dead when they get back... though that would solve any complications in the romance area for the series. |

Indeed, discussion does need starting. *poketh* we need more posting members....
Anyway, the episodes aren't getting shorter, they're just full of more and more fluff... but Ichigo's not high on your favorites list? So sad.... he and Kisuke are both on my bishie list, but Ichigo occupies the lofty 4th place (right after Kazu-kun, Cho Hakkai, and Genjyo Sanzo... although I'm thinking of booting Sanzo down a place or two and bumping Kisuke into like 5th place... and doing that would put Ichi in 3rd place).
... and wait, who are you hoping doesn't drop dead? Renji? I can assure you, he won't. (START SPOILERS------

Oh, and since there seems to be an unused RP section on the main board... if I can gather followers, maybe we could start a Bleach rp...

(more MAJOR spoilers starting now) Yeah, Renji used to be in the 5th division, until Aizen realized that he wouldn't be useful to him and had him transferred to (I think) the 11th, and then eventually he ended up in the 6th division with Byakuya. Aizen decided, however, that Hinamori Momo and Kira Izuru would be useful, so they ended up working in the 3rd and 5th divisions. And I hate to break it to you, but your theory's all wrong. Gin is in league with Aizen and so is Tousen Kaname (the 9th division captain). They're plotting to basically destroy Soul Society and do something else that I haven't managed to figure out yet. They also open up a door and let a dozen Menos Grandes into Soul Society. As for where I got this information, I've read almost all of the manga chapters that have been written so far (up to ch. 179) - most scanlated, some raw. And sure, an RPG would be fun. But where do you propose we get followers? |

I'm trying to recruit a guy from a Slayers message board who's a big bleach fan, plus he's kinda an RP veteran, so maybe he can help spread the word around some other RPG boards. With the huge fanbase Bleach has developed, we shouldn't have too much trouble finding peole once we get the word around. It'll be getting an actual RPG together that'll get to be something of a problem I think... but, by the time we have enough, we should have some people who can help with that too.

And creepy. Really creepy. The kind of creepy that would give me nightmares, except I don't have nightmares. And yeah, the 9th captian's the blind guy with the braids and such - Aizen keeps him on his side because he's blind (and Aizen's power involves illusions that only work on people who see them and such)... Basically, Aizen Sousuke is just an evil, manipulative loser. I would like very much to kick him. Or perhaps just pin him to a dartboard... Hmm. Bleach RPG. Yeah, it won't be too hard if we get people, but, as I (maybe?) mentioned before, we're holding off on that... at least for awhile... but getting people on the boards would be nice. Oh, yes, and I colored my handstand doodle of Kisuke. I posted it in the other thread if you want to see it. |

yeah, that's about it... it's nice to not have to click the reply button, but I could've lived without it.
on a more Bleachy topic... Episode 33. Wowo. That was just messed up. Sorta funny at some moments, but mostly just messed up. They shouldn't have tried to make a whole episode out of Karakura Super Heroes, it was too short an insert to begin with and it just turned out wierd. And Don Kanonji is a head case...

I think the whole point was a standard, pointless, comedy filler episode. Stretch out the show a bit, that kind of thing. But at least Urahura got another apperence. That's always good.

Yeah, that is basically what it was. And it was fun to check up on Kisuke... but jeez, it was scary! I mean, they really need to lock Kanonji up in a secure and undisclosed location :S Where he can't corrupt the morals of minors. Those poor, poor children....

I really hope they don't kill off too many of the Shinagami, some of them are really cool... like the kid captain and the one girl who ep 34 kinda centered around. Speaking of ep 34, looks kinda painful to be nailed to a wall with your own sword... but I have this funny feeling he ain't dead. Probably becaues you told me he's an illusionist =P.

yeah, he's far from dead. It's just another step in his evil plot to take over... everything. *kicks Aizen*
Additionally, I hate to disappoint you, but several of them do die. Hinamori, for one, is murdered by Aizen (see, told ya he's a loser). And Histugaya... I'm pretty sure he dies, but not positive. He's at least mortally wounded and gets all frozen over with ice... so yeah, he probably dies as well... not to mention he looks pretty darn dead in that scene.

35. Does Kira die, turn evil, or realize he's being manipulated and fight against Gin? Or all/none of the above? Or do we not even know yet? And when does bucket-head fight (the one captian, 7th squad I think...)? And 36 should be cool, a couple of really good fights are brewing... no pun intended with the 8th squad captain who seems to drink so much. And when are Ishida-kun and Inoue-chan going to be back in the series. And... and... I think that's all... I'll annoy people later again.

*gasps* activity!
Yay. Not quite sure what happens to Kira. He gets into a fight with Rangiku right before Hinamori dies, loses, and then we don't really hear from him for awhile. I assume Rangiku may have incapacitated him for awhile. Either way, he doesn't show up to fight Aizen & crew. He does live, though, because he shows up in chapter 180. Oh, and I found out that Hitsugaya lives too, fortunately (the majority of the Bleach fan base may have begun a mass-protest if he didn't). I guess Aizen just beat him up really badly. But actually, the latest two chapters (180 & 181) make absolutely no sense in the context of the story, so who knows; it could be just some really funky dream.
Bucket-Head's name is Komamura. He's actually got a fox head, so that's why he wears the bucket-basket thing. He first fights with Zaraki Kenpachi way down the road (well, not waaaay down, but we've got some time to go). He doesn't see too much action, actually.
I agree with you on 36. I've been waiting for the Ichi-Kenpachi fight for awhile now; it's a personal favorite of mine. And they've been building up to it for, like, ever. Not to mention the grand debut of Anti-Ichi (another story altogether).
As far as I remember, the night time Orihime and Quincy Archer (who I flatly refuse to call Ishida ever since vol. 4 of the manga) next show up in a fight with Mayuri... which is another good fight, simply because Mayuri's a loser (he's responsible for the death of Quincy Archer's grandfather, btw).
The 8th captain dude (who's name is Shunsui) does fight Chad (and it's a very strange fight... neither one really wants to fight and they seem to spend a lot of time telling each other to give up)... and Chad eventually loses. As a side note, am I the only one who thinks that Nanao looks a bit like a female version of Quincy Archer? (it's a little more apparant in the manga, but still...)
Meep. Still have to color that Ichi lineart that I drew. Kick me if I don't do that in the next week or so, please...

Why do you refuse to call him Ishida? And yeah, Nanao does look kind like him... hadn't realized that before. Hmm, Mayuri, Mayuri... captain, second, some lower rank? Name not familiar, but then, I tend to forget (or simply not learn) a lot of names.
Aw, poor Sado-san, he should win...
Hmm, why's Bucket-head fight Zaraki? Does Zaraki side with Ichigo and those guys after the pair fight? Friend and I have been thinking, "They're gonna fight, they're gonna respect each other's strength, and they're gonna become friends." <== How accurate is that?

I refuse to call him Ishida because Quincy Archer sounds so much more awesome. I mean, come on, Quincy Archer hates you! That was like the best chapter & volume title ever.
Kurotsuchui Mayuri is the 12th division captain... the ugly psycho guy with the funky mask thing who's alwasy looking for new "specimens" and calling his vice-captain Nemu an idiot ... the guy who took over Kisuke's research & development job after he was tossed out.
Komamura fights Zaraki because Zaraki decides to help out Ichi & crew... actually, Chad, Orihime, Ganju, and Quincy Archer are captured & imprisoned, and Zaraki breaks them out because he wants to find Ichigo, or something like that. But watching Orihime and Yachiru riding around on Zaraki together is funny. But either way, Zaraki and Ichigo don't really meet each other after their fight, except in big group scenes where Ichi is fighting someone else, so to call them "friends" would be a bit inaccurate... mostly I think Zaraki just wants a rematch.
