[glow=blue,2,300]LEVESQUE. *Shudders* And I usually love English . . . I think you have Miss Nichols this year, though. +^_^+ She's great, just don't make her angry and you'll be fine.[/glow]
Why does the glow tag make my text bunch up!?

For English? Nope, I have Ms. Benedetto first half and I think Mr. Budd for second... but who knows. My schedule could get messed up if they find a space for me in Art 1 ...

Really? *Contemplates* Maybe I'm getting your schedule and my sister's confused. It's completely possible. Or yours and my old one. (I got two in the mail on the same day, because I did a schedule change.) Whatever.
Yes, TAKE ART ONE! +@_@+ It's a nice class, and art classes are always good for after you get away from English and you want to kill something. That's why it was nice that I had Ceramics just after English . . . *Smiles* *Insert shimmery, floating things, flowers, and pretty music* ...Whoa. Where'd that come from? Doing something in school as a class other than regular classes keeps my brain from dying. If you didn't have Band, I'd wonder how you could get through so much of school without having a breakdown.

Dude, Band is the best class on the face of the Earth. Although I'm a little scared about playing first flute next year... maybe I should go drag Sara back from college...
But seriously, I don't know if I'll be able to function now that they moved Band to 6th period... it always woke me up in the morning and all. Now I have honors pre-calc first period *dies*

You'll be fine with 1st flute. If you're that nervous, just make sure you practice enough so you don't mess something up in a concert. +^_^+
Honors Pre-Calc first period!? Oh god, I would DIE if I had math first period . . . As it is, I think I have it third period, and I prefer to have it seventh or eigth. Ugh. +X.X+ They better not give me P.E. last period, `cause I would then have to break something.

Eh. Maybe. I'll probably spend all of my resource classes (note: I audit band during my study this year; therefore i have no study :S) On the other hand, I have an odd tendency to be a total screw-up during practices and then do well during the real concert... so maybe I''ll luck out. Mr. B's not likely to give us very hard pieces, since almost all the good players left last year (we'll miss you, Sara!!! *cries*). So maybe I'll not need to play anything with a solo in it.
Yes, I will probably die because of my stupid pre-calc class. I just hope pre-calc isn't hard... if it's about the same as Algebra 2 I'll be fine... but it is an honors course... I've never taken honors math before (damn schedule conflicts...)
Actually, I might have PE last... which would be a nightmare, but I don't know. I know my morning's filled, so the only times I could have it are 7 or 8... actually, I hope it's 8th in that case. DOn't want PE right after lunch... bleh...

No study for Asuka? Eeee, that sucks a lot. I've got my chem lab, that's it. And a spot that's likely to be filled with Sculpture (I'm 1st on the waiting list, and you know somebody's going to drop out), so I'll have 2 studies for maybe as many days.
Hey, maybe if you're lucky, you'll have a few good (or at least decent) freshmen flute-players. You never know. So you screw up during practice but nail it when you actually have to play? Well, I guess that's good. I think.
Math. *Shudders* I'm dreading Geometry. I just hope I get a good teacher, otherwise I'm going to either have to switch or make Mr. Hopper help me.
P.E. after lunch wouldn't make you miss your bus, at least. Though, since I'll be staying after in the beginging of school a lot, I guess we could give you a ride home if you need it. 8th P.E. would suck.

Yeah, well, I never had much in the way of study halls, anyway. But it does rather suck a lot.
If last year was any indication of what we'll be getting in the way of instrumentalists, I'd have to say we're doomed. The incoming freshman class was pretty bad. With the exception of Mel, who was a diamond in the rough, I suppose.
My tendency to screw up during practice and then nail it later may be better than it's reversed form, but it tends to frighten Mr. Breault. You should have seen him prior to the graduation - he looked about ready to explode when I screwed up the solo for about the fourth time... he actually said he was taking away the solo if I couldn't get it, but then I got all scared and nailed it the next time, and he was all relieved-like.
I wouldn't worry about Geometry. It's actually rather fun. ANd math teachers (with the exception of Mr. Richter, who is a sadist among sadists) are always eager to help out a confuzzled student. And I might even be able to help; I still remember a bit of Geometry.
I'm assuming you'll be staying after from play practices? don't forget that I plan on joining the sewing team, so I might have to stay after, too. Oh, and you have to introduce me to Ms. Nichols. She scares me a bit (she yelled at me last year for inhabiting the music department office and playing with the puppy. I couldn't help it. It was a puppy...). But she doesn't scare me as much as Mr. DelAngelo - who, by the way, is taking a year leave for some obscure reason. WHich means I get a DelAngelo-free year!

Thy were that bad? Oh my. Well, I guess the band will figure something out. And you're not supposed to scare poor mr Breault like that! He might have a heart attack, and that would be bad, since Mr. Breault is cool. Gosh, I hope I spelled his name correctly. It was a good thing you nailed it, though. *Grins* How long did it take for you to find that nail? Thank's for your offer! And i will probably be accepting it, since I'm hopeless with math. Play practice because sewing cew has to be there once in awhile, as well as driving school. And since I'll be there anyway, I'm probably going to be doing tech and/or set as well. Because the painting last year was fun. +^_^+ Ms. Nichols isn't scary unless she yells at you. She's actually very nice. And of course I'll introduce you. I'm probably goign to be going to see her in the morning of the first day of school anyway to tell her that I'm volunteering for sewing crew anyway, so you can come with me. He's leaving for some family thing, I forgot exactly what it was. Yay for you! But announcements will probably be much more dull now.

Yeah, they sorta were. I think Mr. Breault was gonna like either die or explode when we played Symphonie for Band at the graduation (Okay, so half of that was my fault, but I'm talking about the other half). The piece is meant to be rather quick, but since most of the better players, who would have normally carried the piece, were graduating, we had to go really slow. That's why I kept screwing up the solo during practice; I was used to playing the piece much faster like I did the year before. The reduced tempo caught me off gaurd And the nail took me about 15 minutes to find Okay. We'll go volunteer for the sewing crew while wearing our shihakushos as proof that we understand how a sewing machine actually functions. Well, you don't need to prove it, but I might... Yeah, announcements might be dull, but I can live with that. Pavia and Deirdre were really depressed, though. They seemed to think it a nearly heroic act that he tried to page Anakin Skywalker to the Light Side of the Force 0.o ANd then they laughed at me when I was sad that Mrs. Bryan was leaving.

Eeee ... Offness with tempo can wreak havoc on anything. +>.<+ I know that from experiance (singing). Hopefully you'll do better this year, then!
I think the only thing that I have to say is that I am now much better- and faster- at using patterns. My first assignment freshman year was to make a skirt and bodice with a pattern, and I'd never used one before, so it took me forever. I'm a heck of a lot better with them now.
Hey, I liked the Anakin Skywalker thing, too, it was hilarious. XD I dunno who Mrs. Bryan is. +^^+;;

Yes, tempo issues are indeed a problem.
I have never used an actual pattern, nor do I ever intend to. I stick to making my own patterns and/or randomly cutting up cloth and sewing it together.
Mrs. Bryan is a math teacher. One of my favorite math teachers, too, although no one else seemed to like her much. Oh well.

I don't know if they'll have us making things from scratch or altering, though it will probably be both. Actual patterns aren't bad at all, they're actually really great when you're making something that is fitted. The way I use them makes more work than necessary, but that's because I'm obsessive-compulsive. Basically, you cut out pattern pieces from a very large sheet of something a little heavier than tissue paper, pin it to fabric, then cut that out. Pin, sew, etc. I love patterns. Apparently the ones by a company called Vogue are difficult to use, although I couldn't tell you because I have no experiance handling one. Simplicity and McCalls aren't bad, that much I know.
Math. *Shudders*
