today i rented (gotta love this movie pass!) katsuhiro otomo's "Memories", and it is probably one of the best anime films i've ever seen. i don't really need justification for my take on this, i mean just look at who was behind it and it'll speak for itself. i highly recommend it to all of you.

I have that DVD... it took me a while beofre I had time to actually watch it though, I agree, it's really amazing! I haven't seen his other works, but memories was really awesome!

akira and steamboy are both good. i take that back akira is freakin amazing, steamboy is good.
go watch akira. like... right now.

Redheaded Being didn't like Akira, for reasons she doesn't remember. (She tried to watch it a few years ago.)
