Quite the collection! Looks like it's a lot better organized now, too ^^ And that's a heck of a lot of Japanese tankoubons - can you actually read them, or do you just like to collect them? And is the guy in the last picture from Fate/Stay Night? (Archer??) We met a cosplayer at the CTCon who said that's who he was being, and he looked an awful lot like that. I've got to make a mental note to watch that series at some point. Your Kisuke plushies amuses me greatly I'm also gonna hold off on posting my collection until I get a new bookshelf, simply because most of it is sitting in boxes at the moment. I might take a picture of my wallscrolls and posters when I empty my camera from vacation, tho' And just because I have to say it: You, my friend, are a pack rat. A pack rat of the packing-est sort

No, I can't read Japanese, the last bookshelf in the corner is full of graphic novels though. I've never had much of an urge to learn Japanese, or at least read it, I could probably understand around half of it if it was spoken. I think the last time I counted I had somewhere around 400 books, but I don't remember, I should probably count them again.
YES, oh god yes. The last 2 pics are from Fate/Stay Night actually. The last one is of these mini figures of Archer and his master(or partner basically) Rin Tohsaka. The little figures of the guy in blue are of Lancer whose another servant from it. There's also a long line of figures of mostly the girls from it on one of the bookshelves. There were a few cosplayers of Archer at fanime which was neat since at the time, the anime was still airing and I didn't think anybody would be doing anything from it yet. I can honestly say with a smile on my face that the anime itself is very bad. It's rather boring and follows the lamest scenario out of the game. But I still recommend it, everything else about it is great, it's just the storyline that sucked, even the initial plot line is really good. Apparently out of the 3 scenarios in the game, the seconded one is the best, but the anime mainly follows the first which is boring and mostly used as a plain introduction to everything. I'll make it a note to you now, but the anime is based off an adult PC game, there's nothing bad in the anime itself, but you never know what you'll find if you just go search for it. I don't know when it's coming out here, but it's been fansubbed by a few groups.
I already have some new things to post, stuff I bought with b-day money, but I need to takes pics first, I'm also kind of waiting for my Bleach keychains to come in the mail first.
And yet my room is NOTHING compared to real collectors. Also some of the things that aren't visible are a few artbooks, some plushies, a 2 inch thick binder filled with nothing but FMA merchandise(pencil boards, clearfiles, a wash cloth, some other stuff...), another 2 inch binder filled with merchandise from various other series, include Kyou Kara Maou, Bleach, DNAngel, and others, and 2 other binders filled with trading cards, mostly pokemon, Houshin Engi and FMA.

Ah. Thanks for the search warning, it's a good thing - I was going to search around for stuff on it tomorrow ^^ I'll make a mental note not to do that, though - I'll just see if I can get it off of some fansub group and see it for myself or something. I'm too broke to buy many US-releases, anyway -.-' It's getting enough attention that I should probably check it out, though. "Real" collectors are scary, scary people How did you stick a washcloth in a binder? More importantly, why would you want a washcloth? I cannot imagine enjoying drying my face with the Elric brothers ^^

You'd probably just come up with stuff from the anime, but just about anything that isn't will probably come up with something 'unsafe' so to say. The best sites I've been on are www.geocities.com/max3075/top.htm - mostly game info, good to know though. dies.archer.nu/index.php - huge gallery, you'll have to register though, I think the 2 anime sections and the in-game sprites are the only 'safe' areas. I'm too broke to pay 30 bucks for DVDs anyway, but the only series I see worth picking up right now is Law of Ueki anyway. Same thing for me, I kept running into it everywhere so I finally keeled and watched it, at first I couldn't get past the first episode, it was really boring, but I forced myself and it got better, sort of, it goes up and down actually unlike most series that either get better or go downhill. Yeah, I've seen a whole house filled with A LOT of anime merchandise, it was intense to say the least. Shonen GanGan usually gives out free stuff(as do a lot of monthly and non-weekly magazines do), and I got a washcloth in one of them. Everything that's in the binders are in page protectors, there is some stuff that doesn't fit in the binders though, some clearfiles and portraits, those are in the skinny bookcase the binders are on.

Ooh, Aizen! Can I kill him? ^^ *hates Aizen* Who're the guys above Aizen and Gin? They're cute. I still think a washcloth is a truly odd gift to give out o.0 I mean, seriously, what happened to posters and stickers and patches and iron-ons and normal things like that?? I'll keep those sites in mind; thanks for the roccomendations ^^

Yeah, I managed to get evil!Aizen, I want to get more to see if I can't get the one of Hitsugaya.
They are from the online MMORPG Ragnarok Online. It's a video game, I used to play it a lot, but I don't have the money to play the real version and the private server I played on shut down. But, anyway, I keep most of the figures out of the 3 different sets on my TV, but I didn't want to bring them over and take pictures so I just took a picture of the box of the 3rd set I just got, and then I keep 2 on the shelf above my bed because they're my favorites. The one on the right is a wizard and the one on the left is a hunter. I always play as a hunter when I play and while I don't prefer to play as a wizard because I'm terrible at magic heavy classes, I do really like the design of the wizard class. That hunter figure also has the place of being the hardest trading figure I have ever put together, amazing.
The washcloth is weird, but I don't really care, and I get a lot of other free stuff that is usually pins, or posters, or pencil boards. I have so much gundam seed merchandise and I don't even want it. I should take a picture of some of the binder stuff, maybe next update.

Creepy. Hitsugaya would be cooler, Aizen is... evil. o.o Ah, Ragnarok. I can never tell when something's from Ragnarok because there don't seem to be any set characters... which would make sense, I suppose, it being a MMORPG and all. Wizards all over anime & games get the best designs It's like... a rule, or something. See, the other stuff makes sense. A washcloth is just.... invariably bizarre.

Well, the evil!Aizen and Gin figures are from the 3rd set of Bleach trading figures and I didn't have any from that set originally, so basically it didn't matter who I got because I didn't have any of them, but there was a Hitsugaya figure in the first set too and I didn't get either so it'd be nice, if I could find the 2nd set I could try to get either the Byakuya or shinigami!Urahara figures, but the 2nd set is a little harder to find right now.
Well all of the different classes have set clothes and a hairstyle in the official art for them, but in the game the hair can differ and then there's headgear, a lot of it.
The wizard out of RO is the first one I've really liked, I normally don't pay too close attention since I never play as mage classes.
I got a mousepad one time and then a gundam seed pencil tin, I'm not sure I've gotten anything weirder than the washcloth though.

Anything Urahara is pure love ^^ Why's the second set so hard to find?
Their clothes don't change or anything? Or is that all fanart that makes up all of those extravangant game-style outfits. And yes, it seems it's always the wizards. Not that I'm partial to them or anything, as I prefer to avoid gaming, but from an outsider's perspective they always seem to get the best stuff - neatest tricks, best character designs, etc. I suppose that's somewhat true in anime, too...
A mousepad's not that odd, actually. Pencil tin's a little bit stranger, but still reasonable. I still think the washcloth is clearly the oddest. The only giveaways I ever get are the posters and DVDs from Newtype and occasional Yu-Gi-Oh cards or the like from Shounen Jump. Which mean nothing to me because I don't like the series much, and learning to play the card game is thoroughly beyond my realm of interest. I do occasionally like looking at them, though, them being shiny things and all. I also have the s-CRY-ed giveaways from their DVD releases, a few abstract mini-posters and cards and stuff from DVDs, stickers, the Saiyuki pencil boards (somewhere) from the 7th volume w/box, a few T-shirts from DVD boxes (Saiyuki, Full Metal Panic, Rahxephon, etc...). Nothing odder than any of that, though.

They're very nice figures, and Bleach is popular. I have found them, but they're about 8 or 9 bucks each and since I don't have any extra money to spend right now, I can't really get them. All the clothes are set, but there's over 30 different classes that each have a different design for male and female, and again, there's headgear, A LOT of it, in fact one of the main reasons I played RO was to get headgear, it's a good hobby in that game. If you want, you can go to this one site that'll let you make a character for RO. You can choose from male and female and then a class and then from a lot of headgear. www.geocities.co.jp/SiliconValley-Cupertino/9230/You can't get anything that great from American stuff, the DVD's that give you t-shirts are pretty cool, but how often does it happen. You get great stuff from Japanese magazines, for 2 years I got Newtype, Animedia and Animage so I have all this stuff from it. I got my Bleach keychains today, along with my Fate/Stay Night keychains and a new PVC figure, also from Fate/Stay Night. And here's that washcloth, I think Ed's eating some takoyaki.... Unless I get some more money, this is probably the last stuff for awhile, unless that Gin plushie comes in on time.....

I have a friend who has Renji and Ichigo (dunno which set), so I've seen how nice they look. Nine bucks isn't bad; I'd pay that much (if I had it) - except it's the shipping the nails you, I suppose. That little character generator is adorable ^^ Sort of like Gaia, but with less clothing choice I may be forced to play with that for hours on end. I dunno, I'd say a fair number of DVDs give out t-shirts or something similar. Obviously most don't, but you can find them if you want to look. 'Course it has to be a series you like or it's a moot point ^^' <3 <3 to Kisuke and Ururu. Ichigo and Zaraki look bizarre. I also <3 chibi!Hitsu. The fate/stay Night stuff doesn't mean much to me, but I do recognize Saber - that's a neat looking figure. Not what I expected the washcloth to look like; it's a neater design than I had expected. That does nothing to revoke it's bizarre status, though.

There's an Ichigo figure in each set, but since they also have Renji, who is only in the first, I'm gonna guess the first set. When you only have 20 bucks it can be costly. And shipping can be annoying, especially if it's from Japan, unless you want your item to take like 2 months to get to you, you have to pay for EMS shipping which no matter what you order costs at least 10 bucks, the heavier the item the more it costs too.
Yeah it's fun to play with even if you don't play RO.
It's hard to find an actually decent piece of merchandise of Ichigo, most of them don't do him justice somehow. One look at Kenpachi and it should be rather obvious that anything of him will look odd. I love the little chibi Hitsugaya, that was one of the keychains I was really hoping to get, I even got 2 of them.
Expect a lot of Fate/Stay Night merchandise for me as I am really, really into that series, I even have stuff on pre-order right now. If I had my digital camera, I could take a much better picture of the figures, but it's in California.

Maybe; I'll have to find out. I currently have about seven bucks to my name -.-' Ugh. I need a jooooooob......
I suppose Kenpachi is sort of like Cougar - hard to do anything chibi with because his face is an odd shape. The Ichigo figure I've seen is pretty cool, but yeah, it seems Ichigo stuff just isn't up to par. The plushies. o.0 Those are creepy.

I'm getting some late birthday money so yay. It'll probably be spent on some Fate/Stay Night stuff though.
Something about KuboTite's art style just doesn't transverse well into merchandise.

I failed to have a birthday party this year -.- So I'm totally broke in that aspect. And again, I am currently unemployed, so I can't earn anything.
KT's art style is very... angular. Even the feminine, soft-looking characters and the pretty boys have a certain angularity to them that's hard to mimic - especially in chibi-form, as it's all rounded and stuff.

If you count both cell phone straps and keychains, over 50, I don't know the exact number of anything anymore, but it's at least 50.
